Title: SFSC Catalog Changes

Based on Policy: 2.09 - College Publications

Office of Primary Responsibility: Vice President for Educational and Student Services/Curriculum Support

  1. Purpose:

To establish procedures for changes to the South Florida State College (SFSC) Catalog

  1. Procedure:
    1. Recommendations to change the contents of the college catalog may originate at any level within the institution with the approval of the area administrator.  Such recommendations should be submitted for consideration in accordance with standard procedure outlined in the appropriate section of the Manual of Procedures, i.e.:
      1. Development of all non-classroom publications
      2. Establishment of instructional programs and classes
      3. Approval of new continuing education and community services courses
      4. Establishing organizations and clubs
      5. Procedures for initiating change
    1. Recommended catalog changes must be forwarded to the Office of Curriculum Support for approval.
    2. The President’s Office will submit the recommended change(s) requiring Board approval to the SFSC District Board of Trustees.
