In as little as six months, you can earn a college credit certificate as an IT Help Desk Support Technician.

The demand for computer support specialists may grow by as much as 17 percent in the next decade, according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. South Florida State College's IT Help Desk Support Technician program equips you to provide technical assistance to computer users. You will learn how to answer questions or resolve computer hardware, software, and security issues in person, via telephone, or electronically.

Graduates earn 18 hours of college credit. Of those, 15 credit hours can be applied toward an Associate in Science (AS) degree Network Systems Technology. This AS degree provides eligibility for entry into SFSC’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree program in Supervision and Management (BAS-SM).
