Special Entrance Requirements:
Generic Program:
  • 12 hours of general education with a 2.5 GPA or higher
  • NLN Pre-admission exam with score of 50 percentile or higher
  • Other limited admission criteria may apply

Transition Program:
  • Florida Practical Nursing License
  • Direct patient care experience within the last three years or completion of the 20 hour SFSC Nursing Skills Refresher course or any other state approved refresher course
  • 24 hours of general education with a 2.5 GPA
  • NLN Mobility exam with a score of 40 or better
  • Current IV and CPR Certification
  • Other special limited admission criteria may apply
